Chipperfield Horticultural Society Annual General Meeting

1st of December 2012

Thursday 7 February at 7.30p.m. in The Small Hall

Everyone will be most welcome to come and join us and we hope that after the meeting you will stay to enjoy some cheese and wine.

Our first show in 2013 will be held on 23 March in the Village Hall when our photography classes will be ‘Spring is sprung’ – ‘Tulips’ – ‘Through the window’.
We are very fortunate to have Fergus Garrett of Great Dixter returning to talk to us on Tuesday 9April at 7.30pm in St Paul’s Church Parish Room. His talk will be entitled, ‘Succession planting in the mixed border’.

Maria Coote will also be giving two talks and demonstrations: Monday 15 April, ‘Planting hanging baskets’ and on Monday 1 July, ‘Recognition and control of pests’.
These talks take place in the Small Hall at 7.30pm followed by questions and coffee.
The talks by Maria are free to members and £2 to non-members. Tickets for Fergus’s talk will again be reduced by £2 for members.

In the new year our collectors will be calling for your annual subscription which is a real bargain at £2. There is really so much to enjoy being a member, so do come and join us.
