Rosemary Elizabeth Parry (1938-2008)

20th of March 2009

Rose was kindness itself. Rose never envied anyone. She never wanted anything materialistic in this world, all she wanted was her family around her, happy and well. Anyone and everyone could call on Rose, whatever the time of day, and be made welcome with a cup of tea. Rose loved her garden, and walking the fields and woods of Chipperfield. She loved Tower Hill and would not have lived anywhere else on earth. She faced her illness with patience and fortitude, in fact she was always more concerned about other people’s problems and worries.
Rose loved everyone she met at the Baptist Church and found a great sense of peace there. It was a fitting tribute to her that the church was full on the day of her funeral. Brian was her anchor and rock, with the same outlook on life as Rose. It was a real privilege to have had Rose as our sister, who also shared the same birthday as Norah.
Thank God for Rose. ‘Memories are treasures that time cannot destroy’.
