Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting of Chipperfield Parish Council
Held in The Village Hall, Chipperfield on Monday 16th April 2007 at 8.00pm
Present Councillor Cllr M Joseph (Vice-Chairman), Cllr Mrs B Berners-Price, Cllr J Carter, Cllr M Jarrad, Cllr DJ Nobbs and Cllr Mrs R Wakeman.

Vice-Chairman of the Parish Council, Cllr Joseph, welcomed all those who attended. The Chairman introduced David Austen, Waste Services Manager for DBC who spoke on the subject of “Waste Management Services within Dacorum”
The Chairman then reported on the crime figures supplied by Hertfordshire Constabulary, stating that for 06/07 the crime figures were low.

2. TO CONFIRM MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 10TH APRIL 2006

Agreed and signed by Chairman as a true record.
3. TO CONSIDER THE REPORT ON THE ACTIVITIES OF THE COUNCIL FOR THE YEAR 2006-2007. As published in the April edition of the Chipperfield News. The Chairman outlined the report and it was agreed as accurate (copy attached). Chairman thanked the Councillors for the help in their respective groups.
4 REPORT ON THE FINANCIAL POSITION OF THE PARISH 2006-2007
Clerk circulated copies of the unaudited accounts for 2006/07. She confirmed that the spending of Chipperfield Parish Council was within budget.
5 OPEN DISCUSSION
The Chairman, on behalf of the Council and residents thanked Cllr Liz Holliday for all of her hard work and dedication she had given on behalf of Chipperfield during her time as Cllr and Chaiman.
General discussion took place over domestic waste disposal problems within the Croft Estate, road surfaces around Chipperfield, heavy goods traffic along Langley Road, parking enforcement outside The Two Brewers and Stanley’s Stores, Grass verges, a new Woodland Management Plan from DBC. Mr Donald Main thanked the Chairman for the meeting.
The meeting was attended by 16 residents.
