The bridlepath that runs by the Apostles Pond is now too dangerous to use. Horses and dogs will get cut hooves and paw prams will get tyre damage and any adult or child that trips over will get bad dirty cuts. PLEASE get this surface scrapped off or covered deeply with sand/soil etc. Why do you 'improve' these surfaces - leave them as soil -ok they get muddy but so what!

This is totally unacceptable and you should put up warning notices until the situation is rectified otherwise someone is going to get injusred.

The 'improvement' of the bridle-path that runs close by the Apostles Pond in the woods seems to have been done with crushed builders rubble. It's concrete with bits of brick, tile and glass mixed in. Its unpleasant to walk on and dangerous to dogs and small children. Previous path improvements have been done with crushed native rock which has soon compacted down to a Macadam surface. This latest attempt to cut corners is almost tantamount to legalised fly tipping. Its degrading a lovely natural part of the wood. Please make Dacorum Council aware this is unacceptable.

Can anybody on this webpage or in the Parish council shed any light on when BT Openreach will install fibre into the village. I have lived in the village since August 2012, and the promised date has slipped back and back and currently states 'earliest June 2013'. A BT Openreach on the edge of Kings Langley is clearly marked with "Super fast broadband is available here" - only a couple of miles away from Chipperfield.

I understand that the Parish council may have some control over planner consent for a new / adapted by the road side cabinet. Is this true and what is the status? Is the Parish council blocking any planning application by BT Openreach?

I am simply trying to find out what the issues may be from all involved and/or affected.

The speeding warning sign in Dunny Lane doesn't appear to be working even after being moved. The re-routing of the pedestrians away from the road is a great improvement particularly as there seems to still be a high incidence of idiot speeding motorists along Dunny Lane. Is there an intention to get the warning sign fixed or better still to place average speed cameras on the few roads into and out of the village.
