Terry Simmonds will talk about the Simmonds family and Simmonds Nursery. As someone who has lived and worked in the village all his life his talk should be a very interesting view of the history of the village from the standpoint of one family.

Tom Stuart-Smith is a well known local garden designer who has won a number of Gold Medals at Chelsea for his designs, his latest medal being awarded this year.
The society is extremely fortunate in getting Tom to talk to us and there is no doubt that it will be a fascinating evening.
