St Pauls Primary School

St Pauls Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School was founded in the early 19th Century, and we moved into our award-winning current building in 1973. We are a Church of England faith based school and are proud of our strong links to the parish church.

The school has an exceptional reputation, with our recent Ofsted inspection results and SAT exam results placing us consistently higher than County and National targets.

We are a one form entry school, with a nursery, and take children from about 3 years old (Nursery) to 11 years old (year 6). We offer a wide range of after-school clubs and activities as well as working in partnership with the Red Kites club (a pre-school breakfast club operating from Blackwells’ premises adjacent to the school.

The school benefits from an active and involved PTA and Governing Body, and numerous opportunities abound for parents to participate in school life.

Our Headteacher, Mrs Tattersall, joined us this year and welcomes enquiries from prospective parents concerning the availability of spaces in the school.
