Horticultural Society

The Society aims to promote the cultivation of gardens and allotments. Each year three shows are held in the Village Hall.  Annual membership is £2.00.

Tuesday 17th April


Plantswoman, owner of a family nursery in Hampshire specialising in

hardy perennials grown for the British climate and winner of 21 RHS Chelsea Gold Medals 

Will give a talk on

      Spring Flowering Perennials

This talk will be held in the Parish Room at 7.30pm followed by questions and coffee

Admission by ticket: £8 for Members, £10 for non-Members

Available from Committee members or, cash only, and correct amount please, at Garden Scene Garden Centre



Monday 14th May:   Best Plants for Pollinators

This talk will be held in the Small Hall at 7.30pm, followed by questions and coffee.

Admission free for members, £2 for non-Members

Maria was a Lecturer in Horticulture at Capel Manor College and is Show Secretary of  our Society



Bring and Share (+ a chair)

Saturday 18th August, 2.30pm – 5.00 pm at The Laurels, Chipperfield     (Details to follow)
