The Lanes Childen’s Centre

We hope you all enjoyed a relaxed Easter break. It was lovely to see a number of our families enjoying the activities we put on during the holidays. Please keep an eye on our website for future activities and if there is a specific event you would like to suggest that we could arrange for the summer holidays, please let the Children’s Centre know.

Here is a reminder of the regular activities we hold during the week. Mondays 9.30– 11.30am, working in partnership with Sarratt P&T Group, at George V Pavilion, Sarratt. £1.50 per child, payable to Sarratt P&T group. Within this group we provide a Music Session from 10.30 – 11.15 with Jo (term time only). Tuesdays 9.30 – 11.30am working in partnership with Chipperfield P&T Group in The Village Hall, Chipperfield. £1.50 per child, payable to Chipperfield P&T group. Within this group we provide a Music Session from 10 – 10.45 with Jo (term time only). ‘Pick N Mix’ Mondays in the Memorial Hall, Bovingdon High Street, from 1.45 – 3.15. A four week programme of fun, themed activities, including a new soft play session, suitable for children aged between 1 and 5 years. No need to book and cost for the session is £2.50. Tuesday’s Under 1’s: 2 – 4pm in The Memorial Hall, Bovingdon. The group includes a music session with Jo and costs £2.

Wednesdays: Drop in Breastfeeding Cafe in The Lanes Children’s Centre, for support and advice from a breast feeding champion. 11 – 12.30 Free to families in our community. Our popular Toy Library can be accessed at all these settings and also at the Flaunden Toddler Group 9.30 – 11.30 (term time only) in the Flaunden Village Hall every Friday morning from 10.30 – 11.30.
