County Council Elections – 2013 Results

1st of July 2013

On 3 May all 77 Hertfordshire County Council seats were up for election. The Kings Langley division which includes Chipperfield, Bovingdon, Kings Langley, Flaunden, Felden and Bourne End was determined by a 29% turnout. I polled 52% of the vote standing as a Conservative, with Chris Wright a local UKIP candidate securing a strong second place with 26%. Thank you to all who took part in the election and especially those who placed their trust in me. The conservatives have retained control in the County with 46 seats, Labour 15 and the Lib Dems 16.I serve in cabinet responsible for children’s services and can be contacted by phone but preferably email. The financial challenge remains but we are in a good place to deal with the future. Need help running a community organisation, get in touch for a locality budget grant. richard.roberts@hertfordshire.gov.uk
