Chipperfeild Men And Women In World War Two

1st of December 2012

We are now in the final stages of bringing together all the contributions sent for the book of Chipperfield men and women who served in World War Two. In the New Year work will commence on the layout of the book in readiness for publication.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. Meanwhile, does anyone have a photograph of Jesse Hancock, originally of Scatterdells Lane, or of George Wingfield and his sister Evelyn who moved to Sarratt after the war? A final appeal is for information about Tony White of Queen Street. What happened to him after he left Chipperfield?
