Sadly, Brenda has decided to hang up her special apron and call it a day. So, Brenda, from your grateful and devoted Saturday diners, a Great Big Thank You from us all.

Charlotte, Hugh and Rosie Clifford and mother, Dinah Johnson, were on board the London Eye Barracuda, chartered by their Livery Company, the Farriers, and one of the 1000 boats taking part in the Diamond Jubilee River Pageant. It was hugely exciting to be part of such a colourful and happy procession (in spite of the dreadful weather). The river was alive with bells, music and cheers and waving flags. For once, all our travel connections worked so that we were back in Chipperfield (just) in time for the Jubilee Concert!
