Joan Jackson – 1917 – 2012

1st of May 2012

Joan lived for a great number of years at the top of Little Windmill Hill. She was a regular attender at St Paul’s church and a member of Chipperfield afternoon W.I. and was interested in all that happened in the village. In more recent years she became unable to care for herself and entered the Abbeyfield Home in Kings Langley where she was very happy. She was given a lift to and from the monthly lunch at the Baptist church which she enjoyed, especially meeting up with friends. Towards the end of her life she moved to a nursing home at Bicester, near her family. Recently Joan passed away peacefully aged 95 and will be remembered by her many friends.
