Graham Breen retired after 10 years as booking secretary of the Village Hall, at the December committee meeting; he will however remain on the committee as Bowls representative. Richard Edwards proposed a toast and vote of thanks to Graham for his loyalty and hard work over the years. He also thanked Anne Breen for supporting him in this task by way of secretarial & computer expertise. The Chairman outlined Graham’s personal & marketing skills in looking after the clients and creating new business. He monitored the cash flow / debtors and liaised regularly with the treasurer in such matters, checking daily on the computer for prospective enquiries from interested hirers. Richard Harrison has taken over from Graham.
