We are currently preparing for our Spring Concert on 10 March at St John’s, Boxmoor, where we will be performing  Mendelsohns’ Hymn of Praise and Gounod’s Messe Solenelle. Very soon we will be changing to preparation for our very popular carol concerts in St Paul’s Church on 10 December in the afternoon and evening. As well as singing, there are many other activities going on as the autumn session gets underway. On Saturday 9 October we held a Singing Workshop at the Village Hall attended by members and visitors from other choirs keen to develop their singing skills. We learnt how to improve our singing by supportive breathing and increased use of resonance. We hope the difference will be apparent in our fothcoming concerts.
