Fr. Terry has done it again! After leading us through all the Lenten preparation and all the Easter Liturgy, he has gone back to visit his African Parish. This time he is
travelling with two friends who just happen to be Engineers. The task waiting for them
is replacing the solar panels which drive the water pump. New, more efficient versions
should greatly improve the reliability of the local water supply.
We were always amazed at Fr. Des’ wealth of useful friends. Now we are discovering
that Fr. Terry has just the same good fortune.
At the moment, the Church grounds look as though we’ve suffered a swarm of locusts;
so much greenery has disappeared. After several years of rampant growth, a severe trimming was overdue and improvements planned
