Robin and Lysbeth Sindall
are sadly leaving Chipperfield at the end of March. Having lived down Scatterdells Lane for 35 years; firstly at Conway, No. 83 for five and a half years, followed by 29 years at Wood Dale No. 68, finishing renting at Silver Trees No. 73 for the last 6 months. Every one of those years has been joyous, from when we first moved into the Lane raising our family with our first child an 8 month old, at a time when there were only about two other families with small children who lived in the Lane, to those children leaving home and creating their own lives. We would like to say goodbye to all our neighbours and friends and thank them
for making our time here so happy. We are off to Chesham, so not that far away, and if anyone wants to come and visit we will be delighted to see you. Goodbye Chipperfield, thanks for the memories!

It is with great regret that I am leaving my job as a Road Crossing Patrol. I have ‘crossed’ lots of children in the fourteen years that I have been doing my job and I have loved every minute. But I shall still see you all. As lots of you know I am working for Bipin in Chipperfield Post Office Stores, so please pop in and see me and say ‘hello’. My last day will be on Friday 1 April. Safe crossings.

We welcome Paolo and Omur Black to the village. They moved here on 12 March from The Hague and will be setting up a photographic studio in the village.
