Mrs Angela Orr, a volunteer at St Francis Hospice, visited in January and was presented with a cheque for £600. In February Mr Brian Norman gave a very interesting talk about the year’s cycle in the life of the hive and added that there has been a marked increase in the number of bee keepers since the W.I.’s Resolution drew attention to the decline of bees.
