Kings Langley Community Choir has performed at many events in the village since its formation just over two years ago. It has also sung at other venues such as the Music on the Moor Festival and The Grove Hotel. On Friday 18 March the Choir will perform Primo! the title for its first full evening performance in the village, to be held in the Kings Langley Community Centre, The Nap. The Choir will perform what Musical Director,Verity Standen, describes as an ‘eclectic mix of contemporary, folk, classical, modern and blues inspired vocal arrangements’. Some of the numbers will be very familiar to the audience, others less so, but with around forty voices the Community Choir will give full measure to the three and four part harmonies scored by Verity. Although the Choir has a considerable and varied existing repertoire, the audience attending Primo! will hear many new songs. The 2 hour performance will start at 7.30pm and include an interval with refreshments. Entry to Primo! will be by programme at £5. Further information will be advertised nearer the date on Parish Notice Boards. Anyone wishing to register their interest can do so now by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Programmes will also be on sale on the door on the night.
