Anne Breen Retires

1st of March 2011

Anne took over the joint editorship of Chipperfield News from Charlotte Clifford, helping to produce the November 1999 issue with Liz Holliday. Anne worked tirelessly and with great dedication for more than ten years. She and Liz shared a love of words and news events and Chipperfield News benefited greatly from their joint expertise. When Liz became terminally ill Anne was able to support her through those difficult times which sadly ended with Liz’s death. Sue Walker joined Anne on the editorial desk in the Spring of 2009 and has continued the high standard of the News publication. On Anne’s retirement, David Collette is taking over the mantle and we wish him a happy tenure.

Thank you, Anne, for all that you have achieved in your many years at the helm. Chipperfield News is an integral part of our village and is only as good as we all make it. We wish you a happy retirement from the editor’s duties, and look forward to seeing you around the village.
