A reader asks people to be aware that this dog has been seen in her garden on several occasions and on 5 January dragged her daughter’s rabbit from its cage and killed it. This has been reported as a crime. If it is your dog, please ensure it is kept under control.

Congratulations to Gladys Taaffe who will celebrate her 100th birthday later this month. Gladys was born in Willesden on 28 February 1911 and came to Chipperfield in September 1940 with her husband, James Bernard Taaffe.
