It’s New Year! What can we put in to explain what’s been going on at our Church; what is planned for next year? The answer is bound to be ‘more of the same’. Thank God Fr. Terry’s health has improved so we have our own priest to say our masses and provide the sacraments. Our congregation will, as ever, rejoice in the happy events and help and support each other during the sad times.
How fortunate we are to be placed in a beautiful village where our church has been drawn into the Community. Many of the parish’s children are lucky enough to attend St. Paul’s school. We look forward to hosting ‘The World Day for women’ in February.
So, while Fr. Terry guides us through the liturgical year and sees to our spiritual needs, we are asking for more people to help in the work of running the parish. There are so many ways to help. Every church needs scores of volunteers, not just the present dedicated handful.
