Margaret Rogers began her talk
‘All about elephants’ by reminding us of the story as to how he got his trunk! She then told us of his physical and family structures, social life and the differences between the Indian and African elephants. We enjoyed hearing about these wonderful animals.

Mr Hugh Grainger entertained us with amusing anecdotes relating to health, hearing, and loss of memory with which many members could empathise.
