Amanda and Aaron Kirby of The Street wish to announce the birth of their third child Leo, born at home on 11 August weighing 7lb 6oz. A brother for Thomas and Emily.
Congratulations to Popsi Stokes, our Distribution Manager, who became a grandmother for the first time on 15 September when her daughter, Kirsty, gave birth to Oliver.
Kirsty writes: Popsi Stokes and Kirsty Hall are overjoyed to announce the safe arrival of Oliver Darren, known as Ollie, born on 15 September weighing 8lb 5oz. He is a much loved and precious baby and his father, Darren, would have been so proud of him.
A message from Emma Green of Tower Hill: I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who sponsored me on a 4 mile walk on Sunday 26 September to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes. My 5 year old son, Nathan, who is a pupil at St Paul’s School, was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes last year. I did the walk and raised a staggering £1,662.60 for the fund, only with help from sponsors at the school and door-to-door. Again, thank you everyone who supported me in this worthy cause.
Many residents will already have heard the sad news that David Bathurst of Scatterdells Lane died on 1 October. David was the husband of Wendy, who contributes a monthly article to Chipperfield News. We extend our very sincere sympathy to Wendy and John and all the family.
