Roy Bomber opened his talk to the Evening WI by demonstrating the different parts of the clarinet. He explained how the instrument works and told of the many parts of the body which the player uses to perform. He explained the variety of music, from jazz to orchestral, in which the clarinet is used and he brought his talk to a close with a short selection of popular music.
