Pilates For Beginners At The Village Hall

Pilates at Chipperfield Village Hall is now entering its fourth term. The classes are held on Wednesday mornings and are run by David Wells, qualified Pilates Instructor and a Registered Osteopath who practices locally. If you would like to join, there are some places still available to start in September. All the equipment is provided – all you need to do is bring yourself and be ready to exercise.
Pilates is a system of exercises designed to strengthen the muscles that support your spine. It can also help your hips and knees. The exercises are performed slowly with control, while clenching or holding certain muscles tight. This is the challenge of Pilates. It is believed that this awareness and control then helps us in our normal lives when we lift our children, sit at computers or work in our gardens.
