Ivy Mcmanus 26.1.1917 – 6.5.2010

1st of June 2010

Ivy moved to Chipperfield in the 1980′s, living with her daughter Janet and her husband. The family were always present and she loved them passionately. She also loved her garden and flowers, as well as the wild life in the garden, constantly feeding the animals and birds.
Ivy had a great love of all sports and for many years she was engaged in High Jumping and was a County High Jumper. She trained swimmers and loved helping youngsters. She played bowls as a member of the Kings Langley Bowls Club and latterly played Short Mat Bowls at Chipperfield.
Ivy’s family consisted of 3 daughters, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren – all of whom were encouraged by Ivy – and, as they became of age, she would watch them at their sport.
She will be greatly missed by her many friends.
