This year Chipperfield Theatre Group’s summer production is Fairway to Heaven and before you start worrying it’s not a play about Golf. It is a fast paced romp, set in the modern day, with plenty of laughs throughout.
We have actually been rehearsing on a Thursday night in Blackwell’s Village Club, so I don’t know what the Bingo goers must be thinking is going on in the back room. With Nuns, Vicars and Tarts, Policewomen, Murder Mystery parties, and burglars there is plenty of action that we guarantee will have you laughing out loud, with the end of the show seeming to turn into a ‘Scooby Do’ chase sequence.
