Congratulations to Gladys Taaffe who celebrated her 99th birthday on 28 February. On the day Gladys held ‘open house’ and was joined by members of her family together with many of her local friends. A really special occasion.

Friends and neighbours wish to congratulate Ray Swaby of Nunfield who celebrated his 90th birthday on 24 March.

Popsi Stokes would like to thank everyone for all the cards, visits and phone calls which the family received following the tragic and sudden death of her son-in-law Darren on Friday 19th February. Popsi and her daughter Kirsty took great comfort from the very kind messages of sympathy and support at such a difficult time.

We are sad to report the death of Neville Thomas who died on 22 February. Neville lived for many years in Chapel Croft before moving to a care home in West Sussex. The funeral was held at the Catholic Church of Our Lady in Chipperfield on 4 March.
