15th of October 2009 - comments

Colin died on the 5 August.  He lived in Belsize with his wife Connie for 42 years.  He was born in Essex and he joined The Royal Air Force at 18 years old.   He had three children – Tony, Paul and Mary.  After leaving the Air Force he worked for many years as a watchmaker.  He was employed by Roy King.
Colin was well known for walking his beloved dogs.  After retirement Colin was a caretaker at the PNEU school in Chorleywood until he became ill 18 months ago.
His funeral service was held at St Paul’s Church on 12 August and was conducted by the Rev. Jim Stevens.  He was buried at North Watford Cemetery.  He was a kind man and will be greatly missed.
Connie and her family would like to thank all the wonderful friends and neighbours who have been so kind and supportive during this very sad time.  Thank you so much and God bless you.
