We are sad to report the death of Alice Ellen Dean who has died aged 87. Alice was a teacher at St Paul’s School in the 1960′s and her husband, Tom, was the organist at St Paul’s Church. Alice died peacefully at Lutterworth on 3 May.

Frank and Lesley Baker are delighted to announce the arrival of their new grandson,Tomas Piran Gillard. He is the second child of Sarah and Alexei and brother of Amelie. He weighed in at 8lb. at Stoke Mandeville Hospital on 18 May. His middle name reflects the location of his parents’ betrothal in Cornwall, St. Piran being the patron saint of Cornwall and Cornish Tin Miners. Together with sister Amelie, we are sure Tomas will bounce happily alongside cousins, Phoebe, Jamie, Spike, Caspar and William on their large trampoline!
