Pilates

The Freemotion team are bringing Pilates to the Village Hall every Wednesday at 9.15am and would like to invite you to attend.
Do you suffer from: lower back pain, tension in the shoulders and neck, weak wrists and ankles, circulation problems, loss of balance, stiffness or loss of mobility, unstable joints? Do you know how to walk, sit, run or move your body properly? Do you regularly dose yourself up on coffee or chocolate for energy? Do you find you can’t do the things you used to do?
If the answer to any of these is YES then the question you should be asking yourself is not “why should I do Pilates” but “how can I not do it?” Let me explain why. Pilates has been around for 75 years and its primary function is one of rehabilitation and therapy. It’s a system of exercises designed to balance the body by strengthening weak muscles and lengthening tight ones to improve your mobility and posture. It’s also a great conditioning workout that can be done by all ages and fitness levels as the exercises can be tailored to meet your individual needs. Pilates is a journey into self-discovery.
It is a fact that incorrect technique when exercising causes more harm than good. Any discomfort in the body is unnecessary regardless of age or gender.
Once we have helped you to build a firm foundation in your practice, Pilates can be used to help get you seriously fit.
