Lottery Funding For New Playground Equipment
The new equipment for the childrens’ playground in Croft Meadow was opened on Thursday 26 February by Norah Tattersall, the Head Teacher of St Paul’s School. The equipment was chosen from a large selection by the pupils of the village school, and Year Six were present at the opening. The children all seemed to enjoy themselves testing out the new equipment.
We are very grateful to Claire Covington, Landscape and Recreation Manager, Dacorum Borough Council, for organising the necessary funding from the National Lottery. I am sure that it will prove to be a great asset to the village, and hope that children of all ages will enjoy using it.
