BARN DANCE
Chipperfield Village Hall Centenary Year commenced with a very successful family and fun Barn Dance evening on February 7. The event was organised by the Village Hall Committee, spearheaded by Anne Stickland, and the band was led by Ken Turfrey. Profits from the evening of around £800 will go towards buying new chairs for the Hall.
The next Centenary Year Celebration will be an exhibition of The Village Through the Ages at the Village Hall on Saturday 27 June from 11am–4pm when a BBQ lunch will be available; and on Sunday 28 June from 2–5pm when afternoon teas will be served.
