I would just like to say a huge thank-you to all who contributed in the making of woollen blankets during 2008.
There were those who knitted squares, those who gave enormous amounts of wool, those who gave already knitted squares and the two ladies who reminded and instructed me how to crochet so many squares together.
Everyone involved enabled me to donate several colourful blankets to a Bosnia-based charity for orphaned children; and the rest, when fully completed, will soon be on their way to a similarly involved charity in Africa.
