Congratulations and best wishes to Chipperfield Afternoon Womens Institute which celebrated its 75th anniversary last month.
To mark the occasion, members presented a computerised weather station to St. Pauls School – “Far more useful than a bench on The Common” said Secretary Jennifer Kahn!
Founded in 1934, the Afternoon W.I. meets at 2.15pm on the third Tuesday of the month in the Village Hall. Members enjoy a varied programme of speakers during the year and are always pleased to welcome visitors.
