We are conducting a trial display on the Chipperfield Village Website, with an insert in Chipperfield News, of major events planned to take place in the village for the forthcoming calendar year. This is for readers information and to try to avoid the clashing of event dates. I appreciate that this listing is not a complete schedule of the activities of all village organisations, but we hope others will join in and add their major events to the schedule,when known.
Needless to say an “anti clash diary” will only work if all organisations nominate a specific member to update their information on a regular basis. We will monitor the use made of the listing and report the results in due course. Richard A. Edwards
