We all had an exciting time preparing for our Flower Festival in August (more about this in next issue) and now we are looking forward to our Harvest Thanksgiving service on the 18th to which you are warmly invited.
Boxes of harvest gifts will be sent round the village afterwards as usual.
Another special occasion this month is the Macmillan Cancer Care annual Coffee Morning and we are delighted to be holding this in the Baptist Church hall from 10am to 2pm. We do hope you will be able to support this important event. We do have a disabled parking space but other parking is available in the Catholic Church car park, courtesy of Father Des.
