Wow! What a spectacular performance was given by all 165 members of The Dance Place. Ballet, tap, modern, singing, mime, drama – everything was included in this brilliant biannual show, delivered so enthusiastically from the youngest 3 year old to the more mature in age. I particularly enjoyed watching the 50 or so children from Chipperfield and felt proud that as a village we have so many talented boys and girls.
However. Chipperfield talent didn’t stop at the performers but also the excellent drama sketches written and directed by Patty Ling, as well as Diana Iles who was the biggest star of the evening. She has spent most of this year engrossed in costume and set design, selecting and recording music, choreographing and directing, resulting in a truly sparkling show.
