On Friday 31 October St Paul’s Church ran an `alternative’ event to Halloween, our `Saints and Sausages’ party. We had not run anything like this before and therefore had no idea how many children might attend or how enjoyable it would be.We needn’t have wondered, or worried! Thirty-nine children attended the party. which was held [...]
Wow! What a spectacular performance was given by all 165 members of The Dance Place. Ballet, tap, modern, singing, mime, drama – everything was included in this brilliant biannual show, delivered so enthusiastically from the youngest 3 year old to the more mature in age. I particularly enjoyed watching the 50 or so children from [...]

I suppose I’ve always had an interest in alternative therapies, as a child I used to collect minerals and semi-precious stones not realising their healing properties. When my horse was diagnosed with arthritis a few years ago his recovery was helped by a homeopathic vet and Reiki treatments. In fact all my pets wear magnotherapy [...]

No, it is NOT going to be closed down. However, I cannot emphasise enough that it is a case of USE IT OR LOSE IT. For all our benefit, listed below are a few transactions that you can use the Post Office for.Despite all the publicity and fear of the benefits being paid into banks, [...]
Once again, on time, the weather deteriorated just as our intrepid team of collectors set out, but undeterred they have all done splendidly (though several were disappointed in the response to their charm offensive) and I am most grateful to the new recruits for filling gaps. Congratulations to Sylvia Brewerton, Helen Harmer, Julia Huskinson and [...]
