Following our successes in 2001 and 2002, the Parish Council have decided to enter
the competition again and we are expecting the judges to visit the village in June.
Our gardens and properties usually look at their best during this month and Arthur
Hirst, our Village Warden, and Paul Hewetson, our Common Ranger will be doing everything
they can to keep public areas litter free. However, if you are aware of any particular
eyesores or dumped rubbish please contact John Pringle, our Parish Clerk, on 01442
