Terry Lightfoot And His Jazzmen Return To Wycombe

2nd of April 2003

Following a hugely popular performance at the concert in the grounds of Wycombe Abbey School last summer, Terry Lightfoot has agreed to do two concerts this summer at High Wycombe, again in aid of The lain Rennie Hospice at Home. The concerts will be cm Saturday 5 July in the Lancaster Arts Centre at Wycombe Abbey School, with a matinee at 2.30pm and an evening performance at 7.30pm. Terry Lightfoot and his Jazzmen will be playing a wide variety of popular jazz from their broad `trad’ repertoire.
Once again, the grounds of the school will be open for people who want to make the most of either event by bringing a picnic and wine to relax around the lake or on the upper lawns. The grounds will he open from noon for matinee picnickers and from 5.30pm for evening concert goers.
The organisers are expecting the concerts to he extremely well supported after last year’s sell-out event that raised over £25,000 for the lain Rennie Hospice at Home funds. Tickets are available at £IS each. Further details from Christine Nisbet on 01494 812458. As many readers know, The lain Rennie Hospice at Home is a registered charity that offers specialist palliative nursing care, support and advice for patients with cancer and other life threatening, illnesses in their homes.
