Hospice Of St Francis Flower Festival

The Hospice of St Francis is holding a Flower Festival at St Peter’s Church. Berkhamsted, in order to raise much needed funds for the building of a new C Hospice, as the present building in Shrublands Road i• rapidly running out of space. Q new building will provide better facilities for patients, families and staff. The theme of the Festival is NPu Beginnings and we have all experienced plenty of those in our lives with a n; w job, new school, getting married. a new baby and, quite often, a new home, which is what the Hospice is working towards.
The Festival will be open on: Friday 25 April, l0am to 6pm Saturday 26 April, l0am to 6pm Sunday 27 April, 12 noon to 5pm Admission will be £2 (children free) and refreshments will be available.
Roger Sharp, the Community Appeals Manager, says “It promises to be an excellent Festival with almost 50 floral displays provided by many local Churches and Clubs.” If anybody would like to consider sponsoring part of the Festival please contact Roger on 01442 877621.
