At its meeting on 8 May the Parish Council welcomed John Carter as a coopted member to take the place of Diane Butler, who resigned earlier this year. John, who lives at Cherry View, Megg Lane, has lived in the village for 9 years. Before becoming a Parish Councillor John had already been playing an important part in the Village Design Statement Team. He now joins the Highways, Road Safety and Public Transport Committee.
